Field Trips

Keep North Charleston Beautiful (KNCB) is excited to offer a field trip opportunity to all preschool students in North Charleston.  During the month of October, we invite preschool classes to visit the Park Circle Butterfly Garden for an educational program created and presented by KNCB volunteers.  This 30-minute program includes an interactive tour of the garden, a reading of The Butterfly Garden by Sue Harris, and a hands-on planting and educational activity. We hope this field trip will demonstrate to our young visitors the importance of volunteerism and conservation efforts.

WHEN: October 4, 2017 and October 11, 2017 from 9:30am-1pm.  Registration required. (Additional dates will be added as needed.)

WHERE: The Park Circle Butterfly Garden, located on the grounds of the Felix C. Davis Community Center (4800 Park Circle; North Charleston, SC 29405) in the center of Park Circle.  This garden is home to more than 75 different plants that attract butterflies.

HOW TO REGISTER: Please call the KNCB office to schedule a field trip at 843-745-1073 or register online by clicking the link below.

These field trips are offered free of charge thanks to the generosity of KNCB’s sponsors and volunteers.  This year's field trips are sponsored by Molina Healthcare of South Carolina.
