Field Trips

Keep North Charleston Beautiful (KNCB) is excited to offer a field-trip opportunity to all preschool students in North Charleston.  During the months of September and October, we would like to invite preschool classes to visit the Park Circle Butterfly Garden for an educational program created and presented by KNCB volunteers.  This 30-minute program includes an interactive tour of the garden, a reading of The Butterfly Garden by Sue Harris, and a set of coloring books that the children can take home with them.

WHEN: During the months of September and October on Wednesdays from 10am-1pm.

WHERE: The Park Circle Butterfly Garden, located on the grounds of the Felix C. Davis Community Center in the center of Park Circle.  This garden is home to more than 75 different plants that attract butterflies.

HOW TO REGISTER: Please call the KNCB office to schedule a field trip at 843-745-1073 or email beautification@northcharleston.org.

These field trips are offered free of charge thanks to the generosity of KNCB’s sponsors and volunteers.  Please call as soon as possible as tours will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.  We look forward to seeing you!
