Ingevity-WestRock Park

Ingevity-WestRock Park has been a public green space with recreational facilities since 1949. Residents of the City of North Charleston, the City of Hanahan, as well as other municipalities have enjoyed the park’s baseball/softball diamonds, playgrounds and shelter facilities.  The 40 acre park is owned by the City of North Charleston but, is shared with the City of Hanahan for each cities’ recreation programs.

As the City of North Charleston’s busiest park, you can find a wide variety of leagues tournaments and activities being held any day of the week.  Though Ingevity WestRock Park is the hub for the majority of the city’s adult athletic programs, it also hosts weekend travel tournaments for boy’s baseball/girl’s softball and the 13-14 year old Dixie Boys Baseball League.

The park is located at 1240 Remount Road.

This park was previously known as Meadwestvaco Park, MWV-Kapstone Park, and Ingevity-Kapstone Park.
