CAR PASSENGER SEAT PROGRAM

NCFD has certified car seat technicians who can provide safety information and assist in installing car seats.   These personnel have been certified by Safe Kids Worldwide.  Click here to learn more about our Car Passenger Seat Program.

Fire Safe Community

On July 2020, North Charleston Fire Department was designated, with 56 other South Carolina fire departments, as a “Fire Safe Community.”  Fire Safe Communities actively engage their stakeholders and citizens by promoting Fire Safe SC‘s “Core Four” Safety Message:

These core messages unify and promote consistent messaging for South Carolina fire service’s community risk reduction efforts to reduce fire-related injuries.  NCFD has partnered with NCFD since it’s creation in 2017.
