🎄Christmas Tree Lighting🎄
Friday, December 6, 2019, 6:00pm, on the front lawn of the Felix C. Davis Community Center at 4800 Park Circle. Join the Mayor for the lighting of the 40′ Christmas Tree, then take a stroll around the Circle to enjoy the rest of the beautiful tree and light displays.
🎄Christmas Festival & Parade🎄
Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Felix C. Davis Community Center with the Christmas Parade beginning at 4:00 pm (NEW TIME!). The Christmas Parade* begins at the corner of East Montague and Mixson Avenues, proceeds down East Montague Avenue, around Park Circle, and back down East Montague to conclude.
FREE admission, FREE parking. Ample parking is available on the islands around Park Circle. Rain or shine.
Thursday, December 5, 2019, 9:00am to 1:30pm at the Charleston Area Convention Center. This free pre-school event provides young children an opportunity to visit Santa, participate in hands-on activities, including holiday arts & crafts, and take part in live performances and music. Lots of photo opportunities!

Breakfast with Santa
Saturday, December 7, from 8:00am to 10:00am at Felix C. Davis Community Center. Breakfast with Santa gives area children the opportunity to visit with Mr. Claus. A hearty meal is provided.

A Very Merry Mixtape presented by Tiffany Gammell & Kay Thorn
Enjoy beloved melodies and get acquainted with some new tunes with this perfect “mix” of holiday mood music. Whether you are a Scrooge or full of holiday cheer, we guarantee you will be ready to face the upcoming hustle and bustle (and extended family time) after experiencing ALL the musical emotions the holidays bring, led by your trusty guides, Tiffany and Kay. Tiffany Gammell holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Mississippi. Past roles include Elsa Schraeder (The Sound of Music), Morgan le Fey (Camelot), Celia (Iolanthe), Casilda (The Gondoliers), and Cousin Hebe (H.M.S. Pinafore) with the Oxford Shakespeare Festival, as well as Hermia (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and Nella (Gianni Schicchi) with the University of Mississippi/presented at the National Opera Association. In 2013, she assembled with local musicians to form Oxford’s first cabaret/jazz act Deux Filles de Sangin. Kay Thorn has been performing as a musician and actor for 20 years. Favorite theatrical roles include Pythio (Head Over Heels), Tom Collins (RENT), Aaron Fox (Curtains), and Miss Mary Sunshine (Chicago). Kay is the music director of the What If? Collective and freelances as musical director for different theatres in town.
