Enjoy and learn the art of ceramics. Instruction is offered in pouring, clay work and painting. Students are invited to select a piece of green ware and create a keepsake from start to finish. Classes are open to all ages. We are proud to offer an instructional class for citizens with special needs. Participants are welcome to pay by the piece of ceramic or enjoy the entire class.

The NCRD sponsors day trips for our local Senior Chapters. A variety of local sites, as well as in-state day trips, are included in the itinerary. Trip costs are minimal and plans for meals will be announced. Specific trip information is made available to all Senior Chapters prior to trips.
For the disc golf enthusiast we invite you to join other disc golfers on Tuesday and Friday morning, 10am until noon to enjoy friendly competition on the disc golf course located on the outer islands around Park Circle.

Join us for fun and low aerobic exercise!
Senior Line Dancing is one of the largest and fastest growing programs among our Senior Adults. Led by Mr. Merrill Ridgeway, this class meets Monday mornings at Park Circle at 10am, and a beginners class is held just before at 9am. A traveling component of the class is the North Charleston Recreation Boot Stompers. This groups is available to entertain at nursing homes and other functions. Class participants dance to a grand variety of music. Don’t miss this opportunity to make new friends and have fun dancing!
Adults 50+ are invited to participate in the Spring and Fall league. Games are played at Ingevity-Kapstone Park.

Be a part of the “JOY WALKING CLUB”. Register and walk the beautiful Park Circle at your leisure. Record your laps in the walking register and be recognized for your commitment. Quarterly brunches, education session and other activities will be offered. Incentives will beoffered to encourage and recognize the diligence of our walkers. Register TODAY!

The Red Hat Ladies is a social group for Senior Ladies ages 60+. The ladies meet September-June on the the 2nd Monday of each month (except July and August) at 1:00 pm at the Felix Davis Community Center. During the Fall, the ladies will enjoy their annual Red Hat Ladies Tea.
