We are thrilled to announce that Sgt. Michael Kornahrens and Officer Asha Goodnight are the recipients of our agency’s prestigious “Lifesaving Award” for February 2024. These two officers responded to a call for service that quickly turned into a medical emergency.
The victim was experiencing heavy bleeding, and the officers acted quickly, utilizing their extensive training and skills to save the victim’s life. Their timely use of a tourniquet and other life-saving measures was instrumental in saving the victim’s life.
We extend our sincere congratulations to Sgt. Kornahrens and Officer Goodnight for their outstanding performance and unwavering dedication to their community. Their heroic actions are a testament to the bravery and selflessness of law enforcement officers across the country who put their lives on the line to protect and serve their communities.
