NCPD participates in hostage rescue training
8/5/2022: NCPD’s Harbor Patrol Unit was one of several agencies that participated in the FBI’s four days of hostage rescue team training. The agencies conducted specialized search and rescue training in Charleston Harbor, the intracoastal waterway and off the coasts of Kiawah And Sullivan’s Islands. -

NCPD participates in Battle of the Badge soccer tourney
8/5/2022: Some NCPD officers participated in the Battle of the Badges round robin soccer tourney at Patriots Point. It was a great way to bond with other local agencies. In this tournament everyone was a winner. -

NCPD participates in Community Fun Day
8/2/2022: The North Charleston Mojos beat the heat by participating in the fourth annual Community Fun Day at the Bonds Avenue Field this past weekend. NCPD participated in a home run derby and battle of the bats softball game. Final score, 18-10 NCPD but the score doesn’t matter when you’re having fun! -
NCPD officers take 38 illegal guns off streets in July
8/2/2022: During the month of July NCPD patrol officers took 38 illegally carried or possessed guns off the streets. Those gun seizures resulted in 35 arrests.
