8/11/2022: North Charleston Firefighters tested their skills with rope training at the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center. The training will give Rescue crews in the city the ability to remove patients from dangerous conditions where normal techniques are not practical. -
NCPD officer helps other agencies get therapy dogs
8/11/2022: Several law enforcement agencies in South Carolina are following NCPD’s lead in getting therapy dogs for their departments. Officer Hobart pitched the program to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office and they pitched it to the Cayce Police Department. Both agencies now have dogs. Great work sir! -

NCPD, Recreation Department hold summer camps
8/8/2022: NCPD’s school resource officers and the North Charleston Recreation Department held summer camps at the Gethsemani, Felix Pinckney and Northwoods community centers. Everyone had a blast and the kids will have some great summer memories when they start school next week!
