Please join us in congratulating Sgt. Kevin Whitfield, M.P.O. Jeramie Woods, and P.F.C. Shane Moseley were awarded Certificates of Recognition for August 2023.
The three officers are credited with identifying a suspect who is accused of breaking into the Nike Store at Tanger Outlets twice during a three-hour period. After the second break-in, MPO Woods recognized the suspect leaving the scene and gave chase. PFC Moseley found the suspect, and after a struggle, Sgt. Whitfield and the officers were able to detain him. Officers recovered merchandise that was taken from the Nike Store. The suspect was charged with Burglary 2nd Degree.
