Our agency is honoring Officer Brooks Barlow with our agency’s Second Chance Award for saving a woman’s life.
On January 23, 2024, several pedestrians flagged down Officer Barlow regarding a man dragging a woman around a wooded area.
The officer quickly realized the woman overdosed on heroin. Officer Barlow gave her two doses of Narcan, and she woke up.
Filled with emotion, the woman thanked Officer Barlow for saving her life.
