After working with the North Charleston Recreation Department for 30 years, Helen Delong, the Northwoods Park Facility Director, will be retiring. Throughout her years with our department, she has impacted thousands of community members who have come through programs, camps, events, athletics, and aquatics at Northwoods Park. We cannot thank her enough for everything she has done for the North Charleston community and our department during her years with us.
She will be dearly missed by not only our recreation staff, but also by the countless individuals she has dedicated 30 years to serving! Northwoods Park and the Recreation Department will not be the same without her on our team!
