The 8th Citizens Public Safety Academy begins on March 6, 2018. This program is designed to bring awareness to the many aspects of public safety. During this 10-week program, participants will receive an inside look at the role of Police Officers, Firemen, Code Enforcement Officers and Building Inspectors in serving and protecting the citizens of North Charleston. This promises to be an exciting hands-on experience for all.

- Fire (Emergency Response, Fire Fighting and Inspections
- Code Enforcement (Health and Sanitation)
- Building Department (Building Inspections, Permits and Property Maintenance)
