In Charleston Victory Christmas 1945!, Actors’ Theatre of South Carolina (ATSC) will transport audiences back in time to Charleston’s first Christmas radio broadcast after World War II. The award-winning group invites guests to be a part of their “studio audience” to share in this fun and unique celebration of freedom and joy. While the guys and gals on stage track a lost truck carrying toys for local children, an assortment of singers, musicians, and comics will entertain. It’s a heartwarming holiday production sure to get everyone in the spirit of the season.
ATSC was founded in 1995 by theatre, film, and television veterans, Clarence Felder and Chris Weatherhead. They are a professional theatre and motion picture company dedicated to producing works of excellence, creating and promoting new works by South Carolinians, as well as providing training for professionals in the entertainment industry. ATSC has successfully presented more than 70 productions and has received grants from The Gaylord & Dorothy Donnelley Foundation, the SC Arts Commission, First Citizens Foundation, the SC Humanities Council, SCANA, Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company/UNUM, Bell South, Dr. John F.
