North Charleston launches tourism website

North Charleston shares its attractions, destinations, and food scene in the city’s first-ever tourism website at www.visitnorthcharleston.com.  A distinctive story is revealed through the website, one that showcases unique locations and entertainment previously untold to the Lowcountry’s 5 million visitors.

The site’s key focus includes, local events, attractions, lodging, daytrip ideas, and food and beverage options to help tourists explore and plan their getaways.  Visitors can also create a favorites list of any destination on the site to save and print out for later use.

“North Charleston is full of hidden gems that we are illuminating for Lowcountry travelers,” said Amy Heath, North Charleston Tourism Coordinator. “We happily boast beautiful parks, the largest entertainment venue, eclectic restaurants, and the most breweries in the state.  The new website provides beautiful imagery and fun commentary to draw attention to city’s best attractions.”

With the city’s centralized location, being home to the Charleston International Airport, and over 7,000 hotel rooms, North Charleston is the perfect hub for travelers.  Now, visitors will have a greater look into nearby destinations with www.visitnorthcharleston.com.
