NCPD’s K-9 unit had a demonstration this morning at Northwood Academy for their summer camp program. PFC McFadden, PFC Reid, PFC Schuessler, PFC Williamson, PFC Weatherford and PFC Hornsby all demonstrated various abilities the K9’s can do. article search, obedience, and some bite work. Officers spoke with several of the kids and answered their questions about the K9’s.
This afternoon they also had another demonstration located at Danny Jones with the campers at Camp Wonder demonstrated obedience and bite work. Also with them were NCPD Harbor Unit, with PFC Marzan, NCPD SWAT with members showing off their truck. Also with them was NCFD with one of their trucks.
