The “Sober or Slammer” campaign is underway. NCPD’s Traffic Enforcement Unit is doing saturation patrols on the city’s roadways, looking for traffic violations, with the goal of reducing collisions. This effort will include focused enforcement to identify impaired drivers and remove them from the roadways, along with responding to any calls from our citizens reporting possible impaired drivers. The “Sober of Slammer” campaign will run through September 6th. Please drive safely!
