The North Charleston Police Department celebrates Sergeant Maria Leahy for Hispanic Heritage Month. Sergeant Leahy’s parents migrated to New York from Puerto Rico. She has served in the Patrol Division, Crime Prevention Unit, and is presently serving as the Accreditation Manager.
