The NCPD Public Safety Cadets recently wrapped up their 2022 summer camp. During the two week camp, cadets received first-hand training from a variety of units within the agency. Activities included a DUI class by the Traffic Unit, a ride-along with Harbor Patrol, building clearance with the SWAT team, self-defense training, and a K-9 demonstration. Cadets also participated in various scenarios where real life events were reenacted such as high risk traffic stops and active shooter. A great time was had by all!
