Today the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced the arrest of numerous individuals as a result of a federal, state and local operation dubbed “Operation Trendsetter.” Twelve agencies worked together for two years to make this a successful effort. The operation targeted violent criminal suspects, illegal drugs and firearms. NCPD played a huge role in the operation, providing detectives, narcotics officers, members of our SWAT team and holding facilities for many of those who were arrested. Deputy Chief Ken Hagge spoke at today’s news conference and Major Al Kuechler who’s in charge of our Criminal Investigations Division attended.
