During the month of December 2023, NCPD patrol officers took 47 illegally possessed or unlawfully carried guns off the streets of our city.
Officers made 43 arrests.
For all of 2023, 502 illegal guns were taken off the streets and 474 arrests were made.
In 2024, our officers will continue to be proactive to keep residents and visitors in North Charleston safe.
