In December NCPD patrol officers seized 42 illegally or unlawfully carried guns. Those seizures resulted in 40 arrests. For the entire year of 2022, officers took 404 guns off the streets and made 377 arrests. Our agency will continue to be proactive to keep our citizens and visitors safe.
