Please join NCPD in congratulating Sgt. Jamel Foster and Cpl. Jose Torres for saving a man who threatened to take his own life this past weekend. The man was in the street, on his knees, with a knife to his neck saying that he was going to kill himself. Officer Foster was able to talk to the man and convince him to put the knife down. That’s when Officer Torres came and helped the man up. Talking to him calmly, the two officers took him to get the proper help. Great job, we are so proud of both of you! #PathForward
