Please join us in congratulating NCPD M.P.O. Wallace and Ptl. Cain from our Harbor Patrol Unit for rescuing two people in a kayak who lost their way yesterday. The officers were alerted by a chopper that spotted the kayak. The rescue was a joint effort by several local law enforcement agencies. Great teamwork all!
