Please join NCPD in congratulating Pfc. Desmond McFadden and Ptl. Jumill Hornsby, our agency’s “Employees of the Month” for October. On October 21, Pfc. McFadden and Ptl. Hornsby, who are K-9 handlers responded to a strong armed robbery and located the suspect sitting in a vehicle. The suspect tried to run but the officers managed to detain him and recover a handgun from his waistband. The victim was not injured. Great job gentlemen!
