Today NCPD dedicated a portion of Rivers Avenue in memory of fallen officer Robert “Tony” Way who was killed in the line of duty on this date in 1985. A stretch of Rivers at Mall Drive is now known as Robert Anthony ‘Tony’ Way Road. We want to thank Officer Way’s family, and our current and retired officers for attending this morning’s dedication ceremony. We also want to thank State Senator Brian Adams for making this possible and former North Charleston Police Chief and Charleston County Sheriff Al Cannon for his words of inspiration.#PathForward
