Charleston County Government announces construction starting on for the Ladson Road at Palmetto Commerce Parkway Intersection Improvement Project. Citizens can expect to see full construction underway in the coming weeks.
The purpose of the project is to allow more vehicles to turn left from Palmetto Commerce Parkway onto the west bound lanes of Ladson Road by adding an additional left-turn lane to create dual left-turn lanes. The project will maintain a dedicated right-turn lane onto the east bound lanes of Ladson Road. The scheduled completion of the project is expected in February 2015.
- All work zones will be marked with construction cones and signs.
- Drivers traveling through the project’s construction zone are asked to be aware of equipment and crews working in the area at all times.
- The public is also asked to notice traffic control signs and work zones.
- All work is dependent on the weather.
