Have a Front Porch Visit with a North Charleston Police Officer

Members of the North Charleston Police Department’s Command Staff will continue its community this fall.  Citizens can have members of the department visit their residence to chat about what’s going on in their neighborhood or simply to just get to know the men and women of the department who serve and protect their community.

Police Chief Eddie Driggers calls the front porch visits, “A way to connect with the citizens and build lasting relationships one porch at a time.”  The fall “Front Porch” visits will take place from October 15 to November 14, 2014 between the hours of 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Residents can set up an appointment by calling (843) 740-2831 or e-mail at [email protected] .

Last fall’s “Front Porch” visits included meetings with neighborhood presidents throughout the City of North Charleston.
