Today NCPD had the pleasure of hosting students and faculty from Edisto High School in Orangeburg. Chief Burgess spoke about how he got into law enforcement and worked his way up to becoming chief. The NCPD Recruitment Unit explained the process of applying to join our agency. Members of our command staff explained their job duties. Our crime scene investigations unit showed the students and faculty members our fingerprinting section and other areas that are used for solving crimes. The students asked some great questions. We hope several of them will eventually become officers with NCPD. Thanks for visiting!
