The 6th Citizens Public Safety Academy begins on September 6th and runs through November 14th. Residents wishing to enroll in this 10 week class should contact the North Charleston Police Department Training Unit at (843) 740-2878.
The Academy is designed to bring awareness to the many aspects of public safety and foster better communication between citizens of North Charleston and public safety professionals. During the 10-week program, citizens will get an inside look at the Police Officers, Firefighters, Code Enforcement Officers and Building Inspectors and their daily work.
