Cops on Doughnut Shops and Doughnut Eating Contest

Local law enforcement officers are having fun with the “doughnut/cop” stereotype to raise funds for Special Olympics of South Carolina.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and the Law Enforcement Torch Run® Campaign are teaming up to raise awareness and funds for the Special Olympics of South Carolina.  On Thursday, November 20 through Saturday, November 22 from 6am-6pm, officers will take to the roof of the Krispy Kreme store at 1491 Savannah Highway to collect donations from customers.

For a $20.00 donation customers will receive a coupon for a free dozen Original Glazed doughnuts and a South Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run T-shirt.

In addition, two Doughnut Eating Competitions will be held.  Local media personalities will compete on November 20 at 11am and local police officers will compete on November 21 at 11am.  Both competitions will
