There are a number of activities taking place this weekend in and around the North Charleston area that could impact your travel plans.
Thursday March 31, the Cooper River Bridge Run (CRBR) Expo begins at 12pm and runs through 8pm at the Convention Center; and the Performing Arts Center will have a showing of The Phantom of the Opera at 7:30pm.
Friday April 1, the CRBR Expo begins at 8am and runs through 8pm; the Performing Arts Center will have a showing of The Phantom of the Opera at 7:30pm; and the Coliseum has a Stingrays hockey game at 7:05pm. The Coliseum has posted a “Parking Alert” on its website for this date advising everyone to come early and carpool.
Saturday April 2, Race participants who will begin boarding shuttle buses at the Coliseum to the start line of the race and back to the Coliseum. The bus operations will begin at 4 am and conclude around 1pm. Also. there is a performance of The Phantom of the Opera at 2pm.
