Chief Driggers douses Chief Bulanow in red paint on Red Nose Day

In a friendly competition to determine who was the “reddest” on Red Nose Day, North Charleston’s Police Chief Eddie Driggers and Fire Chief Greg Bulanow went head to head to raise money for children in poverty.  In the end, $2895 was raised, which will be donated to Tricounty Family Ministries in North Charleston.

Red Nose Day aims to end child poverty by raising money and awareness for kids in the U.S. and around the world.

Since Chief Bulanow did not raise quite as much as Chief Driggers, he was considered to be not quite “red enough.” The only fix for that was a big bucket of red paint.

Tricounty Family Ministries, is a non-profit providing food, clothing, medical care, counseling, job training & placement, shelter, financial assistance and other vital services to the less fortunate in the tricounty area. It offers a safe, compassionate, and inviting place for all people in need.
