North Charleston Sports Complex Ribbon Cutting
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – The City of North Charleston announces the ribbon cutting of the North Charleston Sports Complex, located at 1455 Monitor Street, scheduled for Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
The North Charleston Sports Complex represents a significant investment in the city’s recreational infrastructure. The project includes a wide array of modern amenities to meet the diverse needs of our community. Highlights of the facility include a 25-meter competitive pool, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, five new tennis courts that meet United States Tennis Association standards, a roller rink, and a multi-purpose field designed to support city athletics.

Following the ribbon-cutting event, the complex will remain open until 7:00pm for tours. While indoor activities will not be available on this day, the outdoor tennis courts and roller rink will welcome the public.
Additional Opening Schedule:
March 29-31: Tennis courts and roller rink open to the public.
April 1st Onwards: The entire facility opens to the public.
The entire North Charleston Sports Complex will be open to the public beginning Monday, April 1st, 2024.
Regular operating hours will be:
Monday-Thursday: 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
