NCPD R.E.C.A.P. (Rebuilding Every Community Around Peace) will partner with Soul Harvesters Outreach Ministry to host a Stop Gun Violence symposium on May 14. The purpose is to bring together communities, organizations, and leaders to partner with law enforcement to formulate a collaborative effort to save the lives of those we are losing too often to gun violence. We also want to bridge resources, funding, and information that will be utilized to develop a task force to lead a more proactive than reactive approach against gun violence. We must change the culture and the narrative of apologies, sorrowful tear-filled speeches, candlelight vigils and funerals for individuals lost to gun violence in our communities. #PathForward
