Established in the Charleston Farms neighborhood, Ellis Park is a community passive park on property purchased utilizing Charleston County Greenbelt Funds.
Charles Ellis
Charles William Ellis was the President of Charleston Farms Neighborhood Council for over 20 years, working closely with city officials and the North Charleston Police Department on issues to enhance his neighborhood. From community center improvements to police engagement events to helping found the Charleston Farms Community Garden, Mr. Ellis tirelessly volunteered his time on behalf of the citizens of North Charleston. Mr. Ellis passed away in 2015.
