During the 2014 Clean Cities Sweep, 54 groups participated in more than 162 events throughout North Charleston schools, neighborhoods, and communities. 32 of these groups were North Charleston schools, a 45% increase in school participation from 2013.

18, 624 volunteers donated 32,264 hours of volunteer service valued at $727.558.84.  These volunteers held 52 educational workshops, and educated more than 12,600 children and young adults on the importance of volunteerism and environmental stewardship.

Clean Cities Sweep volunteers removed 114,330 pounds of litter and debris, 7,985 pounds of recycling, and 151 tires and replaced them with 79 trees and 3,575 flowers.
