Butterfly Garden

The Park Circle Butterfly Garden is conveniently located on the grounds of the Felix C. Davis Community Center in the center of Park Circle in North Charleston.  This garden is home to more than 75 different plants that attract butterflies.  There are several picnic tables and benches for you to enjoy your lunch or just take a break.

This garden serves as an educational garden for the community to learn about the types of plants that thrive in the area.  The "Plant List" link above lists just some of the beautiul plants in this garden that attract butterflies to the North Charleston area.

Additionally, Keep North Charleston Beautiful offers field trips to preschools during the months of September and October.  These are the months that you will find the highest concentration of butterflies in the garden.  If you are interested in learning more about the field trips, click the "Field Trip Information" link above.

Currently we have four Flowerscape sponsors who are responsible for maintaining the garden once a month - the SC Stingrays, Paul Mitchell the School Charleston, Joint Base Charleston, and Cooper Cosmetic & Family Dentistry.

Harvest Festival and Block Party

October 25 on East Montague from 4pm until after dark, the Harvest Festival and Block Party features live musical performances, art and craft booths, costume contests and children's activities.
