A NEW HOPE for KEITHY BEARS

12/6/2017

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away….

Episode IV

A NEW HOPE for KEITHY BEARS

It is a period of civil war. North Charleston employees, striking from City Hall, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Charleston County Government Empire.

During the battle, City employees managed to steal secret plans to the Empire’s ultimate weapon, KEITHY BEARS, plush toys powerful enough to destroy an entire frown.

Pursued by the County’s sinister agents, Mayor Summey races to City Hall aboard a fire truck, custodian of the stolen plans that can save Christmas and restore smiles to the children of our community….

---------------------------

Each year during the holidays, North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey and Charleston County Councilman Teddie Pryor enter into a cordial competition to collect stuffed animals for children in our community. A fun competition to see who could collect the most Teddie Bears OR KEITHY Bears.

New bears may be donated at North Charleston City Hall at 2500 City Hall Lane, North Charleston, SC 29406.

All bears received during the challenge will supplement the gifts collected by Toys for Tots and will be delivered on Christmas Day. The North Charleston Toys of Tots is the only affiliate in the United States to make deliveries on Christmas Day.

For more information, call Sgt. Gary Zimmer of the North Charleston Police Department at 843-740-5896.
