City Hall Exhibits
North Charleston City Hall, located at 2500 City Hall Lane, provides an excellent public exhibition opportunity for individual artists and artist groups. In addition to the City’s Public Art Collection on display along the atrium areas of three floors, an enclave on the second floor of the building features rotating exhibits that can accomodate 2-D and 3-D works that can be hung, as well as 3-D works that are freestanding or can be displayed on a pedestal.
As a civic venue, City Hall allows for great visibility among residents and visitors. Exhibits are rotated on a bi-monthly or monthly basis and may feature two or more artists concurrently.
How to Exhibit Your Work:
Individual artists and groups are welcome to submit an application to exhibit original works in this public venue. Exhibits are programmed one year in advance according to fiscal year. Artists interested in exhibiting at City Hall for fiscal year July 2015-June 2016 should submit an application by the deadline of November 30, 2014.
