Last week in North Charleston…

Beginning Monday, August 16, face coverings will be required in all city buildings.  Visitors to city-owned facilities must wear face coverings at all times.

At this time, this order will not extend to private businesses, but we encourage businesses to adopt similar measures.  Citizens are urged to fully comply with the wishes of businesses who require face coverings to enter their establishments.

We’re offering Community Assistance Grants via the American Rescue Plan
• Must display COVID impact on your organization’s mission
• Must demonstrate services rendered to North Charleston residents
• Must be recognized by the IRS for a minimum of one-year
• MAXIMUM a charity can request is $100,000
• Deadline to apply, Oct 1
