City Art Gallery
The City of North Charleston Cultural Arts Department offers a public exhibition opportunity for serious visual and fine craft artists in the South Carolina region. The North Charleston City Gallery is located in the common areas of the North Charleston Performing Arts and Charleston Area Convention Center Complex. This location offers great exposure for artists seeking to reach local patrons and visitors to this multi-use facility. The Gallery Desk is managed by a Cultural Arts staff member several days per week for the express purpose of promoting the exhibit and the sale of artwork, prints, notecards, and gift items. Exhibits are rotated on a monthly basis and may feature two or more artists in the Gallery space each month. We invite you or your group to submit an application for consideration in this exciting venue. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. A Review Panel will meet in May and November to select exhibits for the upcoming year. A review on May 30th will select exhibits for January-June. The November 30th review will select exhibits for July-December.
