Employee of the Month
It is a privilege to announce Patrolman Kashaun Bailey as “Employee of the Month” for February, 2012. This recognition speaks highly of his character and performance as a member of the North Charleston Police Department.
On February 13, 2012, during Roll Call, the duty Sergeant issued a copy of an alert (BOLO) to the South evening shift team for an unknown subject that committed a burglary at 3690 Dorchester Road. Patrolman Bailey recognized the suspect as a subject that he had previously arrested for theft of cable on E. Surrey Dr. Ptl. Bailey then contacted Detectives with the suspects’ information. Detectives researched the information provided and confirmed that this was definitely the suspect and warrants were drawn. This suspect had 6 prior convictions for burglaries and may have been involved in other outstanding burglary incidents.
Patrolman Bailey demonstrated good patrol skills and initiative in identifying the burglary suspect and contacting the case detective clearing a burglary incident.
Patrolman Bailey is a credit to the citizens of North Charleston and represents the department well.
It is indeed a privilege to congratulate him for a Job Well Done!
