Firefighter of the Month
Each member of the North Charlston Fire Department organization, be it fire suppression, administration or fire marshal's staff fights fires and protects the lives of the citizens, visitors and those who work in North Charleston. The Firefighter of the Month diplays dedication and consistent effort to fulllfill the resposibilities assigned to him or her with a positive attitude and skill that demonstrates the best of the North Charleston Fire Department.
Captain Daniel Fisher
“Employee of the month” is a title that is given to a deserving person who shows dedication and commitment to our fire department and its employees during a short time frame. The employee who is being nominated this month is well deserving of this title for his commitment, dedication, time and support of all facets of the job for which he is assigned.
This employee has proven himself to be extremely dedicated to the sucess of the North Charleston Fire Department and its surrounding departments. He volunteered to be the point of contact for the North Charleston Fire Department with a Mass Casualty Incident Drill for Dorchester County. He has attended meeting off duty and worked to secure all needed resources from our organization as well as other agencies in Dorchester County. He set up evaluators and controllers for the drill and provided feedback at the formal critique.
This employee's willingness to step up to a major project, see it through, and demonstrate a sucessful outcome are qualities outlined in the department's values statement and is why Captain Daniel Fisher is well derserving on May's Employee of the Month.
