Romeo & Juliet performed by The Baillie Players
The Baillie Players will tour Shakespeare’s beautiful story of love and loss. Most people are familiar with the story, usually from remembrances of 9th grade English classes of long ago. This experience will be different. Very different. Tim Brosnan has written a one-hour script derived from the original Shakespeare. This rendition makes The Bard accessible to all. He had made the tragic tale truly entertaining. Gloria and Milner Martin portray the title roles, effectively delivering the original language of Shakespeare. Buren and Dorothy play multiple roles, including a narrator who brings the language back down to earth, often with much humor, for the audience.
