10/19/2017: The North Charleston City Gallery will feature abstract mixed media works by Penny Beesley of Beaufort, SC, throughout November. Beesley will host a free public reception at the gallery on Thursday, November 2, from 5:00-7:00pm.
10/11/2017: Performers/presenters in all arts disciplines are invited to apply to participate in the 2018 North Charleston Arts Fest, set for May 2-6. There is NO fee to apply. 10/4/2017: SC visual artists are invited to submit entries for consideration as the official design of the 2018 North Charleston Arts Fest. Deadline is December 15, 2017.

9/13/2017: The North Charleston Cultural Arts Department is now acceptiong applications from professional visual artists creating two-dimensional or wall-hung three-dimensional works for exhibitions at the North Charleston City Gallery for FY2018/19. There is no fee to apply. Artists must apply online at www.northcharlestonculturalartsdpartment.slideroom.com by Monday, November 30, 2017, in order to be considered.
