North Charleston City Gallery to Exhibit Works by Alvin Staley & DeWayne Sykes

5/29/2014: The North Charleston City Gallery will host concurrent solo exhibitions by Orangeburg, SC, artist, Alvin Staley, and local artist, DeWayne Sykes, throughout the month of June 2014. The artists will host a free public reception at the gallery on Thursday, June 5, from 5-7pm.

5/13/2014: The City of North Charleston was once again named a “Playful City USA” community by KaBOOM!, the national non-profit dedicated to play for America’s children. KaBOOM! created “Playful City USA” in 2007 to help local governments address the play deficit by ensuring children have the time and space they need to play.

Thirteen Citizens in first graduating class of the Public Safety Academy
