Clean Cities Sweep
Keep North Charleston Beautiful and Keep Charleston Beautiful are sponsoring the annual Clean Cities Sweep, April 18 - 25, 2010. Thousands of volunteers participate each year by planning a cleanup and/or beautification event in their community. Groups that register to participate are eligible for contests and prizes, free project supplies, and a Clean Cities Sweep planning kit.

 School groups may participate in the Clean Cities Sweep Program during the months of March and April.
Over 38 community events were registered in 2009, resulting in 21,465 pounds of litter collected and the installation of 430 bales of pinestraw, 544 flowers, plants and trees.
Opportunities to participate include planning an Earth Day event, planting a garden, coordinating a cleanup, promoting the event at your business or organization, or being a sponsor.

After downloading the form, feel free to fill out the Microsoft Word document, save it and then email it to chanlon@northcharleston.org. Registration forms for 2010 will available in January.
