Northwood Park is one of the largest multi-purpose recreation facilities in the area.  Our friendly staff at Northwood Park offers a variety of programs and activities for the entire family.  Feel free to stop by the park and explore the many opportunities that are available.

Northwood Park is the perfect site for your weekend family picnics.  On site is a public swimming pool that operates Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day.  The pool is available for private parties at a nominal charge.  American Red Cross Swimming Lessons are available during the summer months.

Djole Dance Company Meets Mondays at 6:00 p.m.
Skating at the "G" Friday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. under the covered pavilion
Computers A computer lab provides educational assistance for youth and adults.
Quilting Age: Senior Citizens.  Group meets 10:00 a.m. each Wednesday
Senior Arts and Crafts Age: Senior Citizens.  Group meets at 10:00 a.m. on Monday mornings to participate in various craft projects.
Game Tuesdays Age: Men, 45 & up.  Men in the community gather on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. to participate in various games.
Movie Thursdays On the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month a movie is shown at the community center.
Weight Room Ages: 13 years old & up.  Fitness equipment is available for use at the community center.
