 Recreational opportunities in the City of North Charleston include a variety of activities for the entire family. Many parks are nearby, as well as some of the country's finest golf courses. Hunting, fishing, historical excursions and resort opportunities abound in and around the Trident area. There is access to beaches, barrier islands, watersports, parks, forests, tennis, collegiate and professional sports, and much, much more.
The North Charleston Recreation Department offers a wide variety of recreational activities and leisure programs for all ages. The North Charleston Coliseum at the Convention Center Complex also hosts a variety of events, including sporting extravaganzas and hockey games.
