North Charleston Farmer's Market

Grab your re-useable shopping bags for a visit to the first North Charleston Farmers Market of the season!  The market, which runs every Thursday through October 26, features fresh, locally grown produce, art & craft vendors, food trucks, specialty foods, kid’s activities, and musical entertainment.  Local guitarist and aspiring songwriter Chris Dodson is a very talented, old soul musician.  Enjoy his modern take on classics and great approach to modern tunes from 3:00-4:00pm.  Blues Deluxe Duo will serve up a stripped down, acoustic dose of true down home country blues from 4:30-5:30pm.  Featuring John Hartness on guitar and DJ May on harmonica, the pair expertly captures the spirit of blues greats like “Mississippi” John Hurt, John Cephas & Phil Wiggins, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGee, and Dave MacKenzie.
